You keep saying “this $50,00 4Runner”. In what world do you live where 43 grand is 50 grand? Has that sweet content money ruined your notion of what kind of money 7 grand is?

Even with all options and deliver and processing its still not rounding up to 50 large even

Yeah, all the silly stuff, mostly exterior offroad gibberish and the TRD performance parts, the upgraded shocks are almost $1500 alone.

Its strange, it says the remote res bilsteins are part of the TRD Pro package but you can still buy them as options?

Also, you can’t get the TRD PRO shocks as an option in any other version. So that excludes the possibility of a configurator mishap.

The brochure states the TRD front springs and shocks are one of the available accessories.

But it appears as standard on the TRD PRO and not available for other versions.

It really depends on his state most likely... That and dealer mark up over MSRP... If he is in CA already, that’s 7.5% in sales taxes only and I’m sure, CA being CA that more taxes add up to that price.

Here’s my issue with Doug...

When he talks about a vehicle I know a lot about, I catch things that are far too hyperbolic or just plain inaccurate. When he talks about a vehicle I know nothing about, he’s mildly irritating but mostly entertaining. I had this same realization last time I heard Matt Farah talking about Jeeps.

I still subscribe, but take a pass on at least half of his content. Kudos to Doug for what he’s accomplished though. I have a lot of respect for people who are willing to go out and do exactly what they want to do.

That’s about the size of it. I wouldn’t mind an inaccuracy or two but when he gets so deep into the weeds on little nitpicky thing it’s hard to look past
